Broadstairs and St Peters Neighbourhood Plan - Proposed Modification
This consultation has now closed. The responses are now available to view here.
The Council is proposing modifications to the Broadstairs & St Peters neighbourhood plan which, together with the recommendations made by the Examiner in his report, will enable the neighbourhood plan to proceed to referendum.
Two of the designations of Local Green Spaces proposed in the neighbourhood plan are considered to be contrary to national policy and policies in the emerging Thanet Local Plan. The Council is therefore proposing modifications to the neighbourhood plan that these two designations are deleted from the neighbourhood plan, and is carrying out a six week consultation on these modifications. The consultation will run from Friday 20th September - 5pm Friday 1st November 2019.
Please read the background information to find out why the Council thinks these Local Green Spaces should be deleted from the neighbourhood plan.
Please give us your views on the proposed modifications.
