It is stated that where there is detrimental loss of wildlife habitat "An equivalent area of habitat will be created elsewhere .......well related to other existing habitats". It follows then that field margins should be retained and would go some way to mitigating the vast loss of wildlife habitat and biodiversity of the field systems.. |
