We support the requirement added to Policy SP47 which obliges the  Council and County Council, in  the event there is delay in site acquisition or assembly in relation to the Strategic Routes, to make interim highway arrangements to enable allocated development to proceed. This ensures there is no delay to the delivery of the Strategic Sites on account of Strategic Routes not  within  the control of those sites. The modification to Policy SP47 ensures the Plan is effective in delivering its growth requirements and enables it to be " sound".
