This Policy is a new introduction to the Local Plan and essentially promotes an inner circuit to serve the new developments and reduce pressures on the existing network. It is noted that this is a first working draft of this plan and that it will continue to be updated and amended as it develops. Table 2 in this Policy sets out the list of strategic sites to be delivered through the Local Plan period. In this table it is stated that the strategic site at Westwood will deliver 1,450 homes by 2031.
