There is concern on the effectiveness of the policy if the LPA cannot demonstrate a 5 year land supply and that proposals are open to “sustainable development” This does not resolve the issue of housing affordability in this area in letting large housing to go over allocation in a mix. It should be strongly encouraged that housing mixes are an important factor and a priority to the LPA.
