Section 10: While the time has come to revisit the need for a Birchington bypass it is clear that the proposal as shown in less than adequate maps attached to the plan would, if pursued, transfer a bottle neck from Birchington Square to "Coffin House Corner" these proposals need further work before they are finalised as the potential effects upon residents could be devastating.

Others, representing the towns and parishes of Thanet, have made detailed and very specific submissions  but  I wish  these  broad  comments  to  be  taken  into  account  in  the  hope  and e    ectatio    that I will be able to give evidence  at the public enquiry consequent  upon  the finalisation, by the Council, of their proposals.
